Assemblyman Matt Simpson (R,C-Horicon) recently extended a special invitation to the Adirondack United Varsity Girls Ice Hockey Team to the Assembly floor in the New York state Capitol. The team achieved a significant milestone by clinching their first NYSPHAA state championship after an impressive 18-0 season. The Adirondack United team comprises students from various Section II schools, including Queensbury, Corinth, Hudson Falls, South Glens Falls, Glens Falls, and Saratoga Springs School Districts.
