State Senator James Tedisco, District 44 | Official U.S. Senate headshot
Senator Jim Tedisco recently recognized the Schuylerville High School Football Team at a Schuylerville School District Board of Education meeting. The team achieved a notable 26-20 victory against top-ranked Salamanca on December 7, securing the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Class C State Championship.
During the meeting, Senator Tedisco presented the team and their coach, John Bowen, with a New York State Senate Proclamation. He also announced plans for further recognition of the state champions. In the new year, when the legislative session resumes, Tedisco intends to invite the team to the state Capitol. There, they will be acknowledged in the Senate Chamber with a resolution that commemorates their achievement in state legislature records.
