Assemblyman Matt Simpson of Lake George has reiterated his focus on addressing critical issues for the upcoming 2025 legislative session. He emphasized the importance of making New York a more affordable and appealing place to live, citing infrastructure improvements and expanded broadband access as key areas for development.

"Our state is a leader in out-migration, and it’s clear we need to create opportunities that make staying here affordable and worthwhile," said Simpson. "From improving infrastructure for wastewater and sewage to expanded broadband access, we can enable housing affordability and encourage growth."

Simpson also highlighted the need to support seniors and provide students with necessary resources without imposing burdensome mandates on school budgets. "We need to make sure our seniors aren’t left behind and that our students have the tools they need to succeed without overwhelming school budgets with unnecessary state mandates," he stated.

As the representative for New York's 114th district, Simpson expressed eagerness to tackle these challenges during the legislative session.
