Elise Stefanik, a U.S. Congress member representing New York's 21st district since 2015, has recently expressed her views on social media regarding significant issues affecting both global and local communities. Her tweets address international incidents and local policy concerns.

On February 19, 2025, Stefanik shared her reaction to the tragic news of the deaths of Shiri Bibas, Ariel Bibas, Kfri Bibas, and Oded Lifshitz. She emphasized the need for global remembrance of the victims of violence by stating: "The hearts of the world break to learn of the horrific fate of Shiri Bibas, Ariel Bibas, Kfri Bibas, and Oded Lifshitz. The world must never forget that Hamas terrorists savagely murdered over 1,200 innocent civilians including women, children, babies, and the elderly..."

On February 20, 2025, Stefanik turned her attention to domestic issues within New York State. She criticized state policies for endangering correctional officers in her district by writing: "I have been directly in touch with many correctional officers and their families in our district who are facing unprecedented, dangerous, and life-threatening circumstances due to the failed and dangerous policies of New York State." She specifically called out Governor Kathy Hochul for these challenges.

Continuing her focus on local issues on February 21, 2025, Stefanik addressed further concerns regarding New York State's HALT Act. In another post she stated: "I have been in touch with many #NY21 correctional officers and their families who are facing life-threatening circumstances due to New York State's catastrophic HALT Act." She urged immediate action from state leaders to address these problems.
