Rep. Elise Stefanik, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing New York's 21st District since 2015, has been vocal on social media about the situation involving hostages held by Hamas in Gaza. Her recent tweets reflect her continued advocacy for their release.

On December 2, 2024, Rep. Stefanik posted a tweet marking day 422 since the October 7th attack in Israel by Hamas terrorists. The following day, December 3, 2024, she reiterated her message in another tweet: "Day 423. It has been 423 days since Hamas terrorists abducted innocent civilians during the barbaric October 7th attack in Israel." She repeated the count of those still held captive and included an urgent call for action to secure their release. This tweet is available here.

Continuing her campaign on December 4, 2024, Rep. Stefanik tweeted again: "Day 424.
