Assemblyman Matt Simpson (R,C-Lake George) visited Whitehall Jr./Sr. High School today to present $40,000 in bullet aid. The funds secured by Simpson have been used to replace books lost due to flood damage. Bullet aid is allocated by the state Legislature to school districts, libraries, and other local entities for projects not covered by the regular state budget.

"Today is about making sure our students have the resources they need to succeed. With mounting downward pressures on tightening school budgets, districts are vulnerable to unanticipated expenditures. I’m committed to supporting our schools and ensuring our children have access to the best possible educational tools and environments," said Simpson.
