Assemblyman Matt Simpson (R,C-Horicon) recently welcomed the Lake George girls’ varsity volleyball team to the Assembly floor in Albany to honor their achievements. The Lakers had an impressive season finishing as the runner-up in the Class D state tournament, marking their best performance since their state championship win in 2001.
"I am proud to recognize the Lake George girls’ volleyball team for their remarkable season and performance in the Class D state tournament. Their hard work and dedication set a standard for excellence on and off the court. The bonds and comradery built during their journey will last a lifetime," said Simpson.
