On Sunday, April 13, former Warrensburg Junior Senior High School standout Nayana DeAmelia’s current college team, the East Tennessee State Buccaneers, won 5-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Mercer Bears.

The game took place at Betty Basler Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Bears this season.

The Buccaneers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 18 at 1 p.m. at UNCG Softball Stadium against UNC Greensboro Spartans.
