On Tuesday, April 8, former Warrensburg Junior Senior High School standout Nayana DeAmelia’s current college team, the East Tennessee State Buccaneers, lost 12-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Gardner-Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs.

The game took place at Brinkley Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Runnin’ Bulldogs this season.

The Buccaneers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 1 p.m. at Betty Basler Field against Mercer Bears.
