On Sunday, March 23, former Warrensburg Junior Senior High School standout Nayana DeAmelia’s current college team, the East Tennessee State Buccaneers, won 5-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Western Carolina Catamounts.

The game took place at Catamount Softball Complex. This was their third matchup against the Catamounts this season.

The Buccaneers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25 at 2 p.m. at Betty Basler Field against Winthrop Eagles.
