Census Bureau: 3.3% of people in Saratoga County identified as multiracial in 2021

Of the 235,010 citizens living in Saratoga County in 2021, 96.7% said they were only one race, while 3.3% said they were two or more races, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained in June.

The most prevalent racial group among citizens in Saratoga County who reported being of a single race in 2021 was white, comprising 91.3% or 214,660 individuals. Following them, Asian accounted for 2.8% and totaled 6,696 individuals.

The percentage of multiracial residents in Saratoga County is 2.7% lower than the state average, which stands at 6%.
