Rep. Elise Stefanik, currently serving in the U.S. Congress and representing New York’s 21st district since 2015, expressed her views on recent political developments through social media. Stefanik shared insights on bipartisan legislative efforts and the early achievements of Donald Trump’s new presidential term.

On April 28, Stefanik lauded her colleagues, stating, “I applaud Congresswoman Stefanik for her strong leadership and thoughtful work to counter the malign influence of the Chinese Communist Party and other authoritarian state actors. This bipartisan legislation would strengthen American’s national security by bolstering the FCC’s”. The tweet highlights her focus on national security through legislative action involving communication regulations.

In a tweet dated April 29, Stefanik showed support for former President Donald Trump’s return to office, remarking, ”President @realDonaldTrump’s comeback is here, the mandate Americans called for on November 5th, 2024 is working full steam ahead—and it’s only just begun.” This message reflects her support and optimism for the trajectory of Trump’s second term, which she describes as being in alignment with the public’s expectations from the election.

Later that day, Stefanik highlighted the economic accomplishments of Trump’s administration in its first 100 days, noting, “FIRST 100 DAYS: President @realDonaldTrump is bringing prosperity back! Inflation is down and prices are finally returning to affordable levels. Promise kept: Trump’s economic policies are putting money back in American pockets.” She asserts the progress made in economic areas such as inflation and cost of living, attributing these improvements to Trump’s policies.

Stefanik, 38 years old and a Harvard University graduate, was born in Albany, New York, and currently resides in Schuylerville, New York.
