On Sunday, April 13, former Shenendehowa High School standouts Matthew Mariano and Ryan Pittz’s current college team, the Albany Great Danes, lost 12-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Maine Black Bears.

The game took place at Varsity Field. This was their third matchup against the Black Bears this season.

The Great Danes’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 15 at 3 p.m. at Varsity Field against Central Connecticut Blue Devils.
