In 1993, Ms. Reardon presented these protocols to the FDA as industry standards that are now used globally in McDonald’s restaurants. Returning to New York with her husband Michael, she became a franchisee focused on community support and involvement.

Her connection with Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) began in 1983 at the Albany Ronald McDonald House. She serves on its Board of Directors and hosts the Annual Reardon Cup to honor her late husband; this event has raised over $1.5 million since 1996.
