On Wednesday, March 12, former Shenendehowa High School standouts Matthew Mariano and Ryan Pittz’s current college team, the Albany Great Danes, lost 14-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Army Black Knights.

The game took place at Johnson Stadium at Doubleday Field. This was their first matchup against the Black Knights this season.

The Great Danes’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 2:30 p.m. at J. David Walker Field at Legacy Park against Lehigh Mountain Hawks.
