Glens Falls, New York, is experiencing ongoing technical problems with its online payment system for property taxes and water/sewer bills. The city has temporarily disabled the system while working with vendor TylerTech to identify and fix the issue.

“We have been working with our vendor TylerTech to fix this issue, but it has proven more stubborn than we first realized,” city officials stated. “At this time we have temporarily disabled the online payment system while it is reviewed and the cause of the technical issues can be repaired.”

The city apologized for any inconvenience caused by the disruption.

Residents are advised to use alternative methods to pay their taxes and bills during this period. Payments can be made in cash at the “Tax Window” on the first floor of City Hall at 42 Ridge St., Glens Falls, NY, 12801. City Hall is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Checks or money orders are accepted both at the Tax Window during business hours and via a secure dropbox outside City Hall when closed. Envelopes and pens are available at the dropbox location; residents should include their bill with payment.

Payments can also be mailed through the United States Postal Service to City of Glens Falls, City Hall, 42 Ridge St., Glens Falls, NY, 12801. It is important that mailed payments are postmarked by any applicable deadlines.

Additionally, residents may use their bank’s online payment system by including either their Tax Map ID or account number found on their bill. Payments should be addressed to City of Glens Falls using the full address provided above.

Credit card payments for city and county taxes only can be made at the Tax Window inside City Hall; other fees must be paid using different methods.

All payments—whether delivered in person, dropped off after hours, sent by mail, or processed through an online bank—should use Glens Falls City Hall’s address: 42 Ridge St., Glens Falls, NY, 12801.
