Glens Falls will temporarily close a section of Ridge Street for sewer repairs on Monday, March 9, 2026. The closure is scheduled to begin at 9:30 p.m. at 21 Ridge St. and is expected to last approximately two hours.

During the repair work, traffic will be restricted on Ridge Street north from Centennial Circle (Glen Street) to Maple Street. Only emergency vehicles will be permitted through the area while the roadwork is underway.

City officials noted that the final CDTA bus traveling along Ridge Street will pass before construction starts. They anticipate reopening the road a couple of hours later, ensuring it is accessible well before Tuesday morning’s rush hour.

The project aims to address necessary sewer system maintenance with minimal disruption by scheduling work during nighttime hours when traffic volumes are lower.
