Rep. Elise Stefanik, a member of the U.S. Congress representing New York’s 21st district since 2015, recently shared her views on various political topics through a series of tweets. Born in Albany, New York in 1984 and currently residing in Schuylerville, Stefanik is an alumna of Harvard University.
On May 20, 2025, Rep. Stefanik announced her appearance on Fox Business with Maria Bartiromo to discuss legislative matters. She tweeted: “WATCH I am live with @MorningsMaria on @FoxBusiness to discuss the Big Beautiful Bill and much more.”
Later that day, she elaborated on the discussion topics during her interview with Maria Bartiromo. In her tweet at 12:24 PM UTC, she stated: “I joined @MariaBartiromo on @MorningsMaria to discuss President Trump’s big beautiful bill, Communist Chinese and Iranian collaboration with Harvard, and the need to FIRE Kathy Hochul to Save New York!”
In another tweet posted at 2:57 PM UTC, Rep. Stefanik emphasized her commitment to holding academic institutions accountable for international collaborations that may pose security risks. She wrote: “I am leading on holding Harvard accountable. We must ensure that no American institution enables the Chinese Communist Party’s military modernization or the Iranian regime’s technological ambitions, especially under the guise of academic exchange.”
Elise Stefanik has been serving as a congresswoman since replacing Bill Owens in 2015.
