Rep. Elise Stefanik, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing New York’s 21st district since 2015, recently shared her thoughts and announcements on social media. Born in Albany, New York, in 1984, Stefanik graduated from Harvard University and currently resides in Schuylerville.

On May 4, 2025, Rep. Stefanik tweeted about her recent appearance on Fox News’ “Sunday Futures” with Maria Bartiromo. In the interview, she discussed President Donald Trump’s proposed legislation aimed at securing the border, promoting American energy independence, and reducing taxes. “A busy morning! WATCH my interview with @MariaBartiromo on @FoxNews @SundayFutures about President @realDonaldTrump’s One Big Beautiful Bill to secure the border, unleashing American energy independence, and cutting taxes.”

On May 5, 2025, Rep. Stefanik addressed the challenges faced by correctional officers amid political tensions. She acknowledged their dedication and resilience despite efforts by some to undermine their work and rights. “While the Far Left tries to strip away your rights, demonize your work, and weaken our justice system—you keep showing up.”

Later that day on May 5th, Rep. Stefanik announced Janeiah Pagan as this year’s winner of the Congressional Art Competition for her watercolor painting titled “Skimming the Surface.” The artwork depicts a Koi fish swimming gracefully through water. “I am proud to announce this year’s winner of the Congressional Art Competition…”
