Rep. Elise Stefanik, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing New York’s 21st district, recently shared her perspectives on several issues through a series of tweets. Stefanik, who has been in office since 2015 and is an alumna of Harvard University, addressed topics ranging from higher education to law enforcement actions.
On May 8, 2025, Rep. Stefanik announced her appearance on a live set with Harris Faulkner in New York City. She mentioned that she would be discussing “higher education, the Big Beautiful Bill, & more.” The tweet can be accessed here.
Later that day, she commented on recent events at Columbia University. She stated that the “Columbia riots were not protests,” describing them as criminal acts involving violence and property destruction. In another post on the same day, Rep. Stefanik commended federal authorities for investigating New York Attorney General Letitia James over allegations of mortgage fraud.
