In her first post, Stefanik expressed pride in the achievements of Jimmer Fredette, a basketball player from Glens Falls, New York. She wrote, “Congratulations on your wonderful basketball career, Jimmer! You made Glens Falls and all of #NY21 proud. Thank you for all the great highlights along the way.”
Later that day, Stefanik addressed a violent incident abroad with a message of solidarity and empathy. She stated, “America is deeply saddened by the horrific mass terror attack in Kashmir, India. The United States stands unequivocally with India in the face of terrorism. We mourn the innocent lives lost and pray for the swift recovery of those injured.” Stefanik acknowledged India’s Prime Minister and the nation’s resilience.
