Elise Stefanik, a Harvard graduate and current U.S. Congress representative from New York’s 21st district, shared a series of posts on various topics on April 23, 2025. Each tweet communicated distinct emotions and reflections on events significant to her district and beyond.

In her first post, Stefanik expressed pride in the achievements of Jimmer Fredette, a basketball player from Glens Falls, New York. She wrote, “Congratulations on your wonderful basketball career, Jimmer! You made Glens Falls and all of #NY21 proud. Thank you for all the great highlights along the way.”

Later that day, Stefanik addressed a violent incident abroad with a message of solidarity and empathy. She stated, “America is deeply saddened by the horrific mass terror attack in Kashmir, India. The United States stands unequivocally with India in the face of terrorism. We mourn the innocent lives lost and pray for the swift recovery of those injured.” Stefanik acknowledged India’s Prime Minister and the nation’s resilience.

In commemoration of Holocaust Remembrance Day, Stefanik tweeted a short but poignant tribute: ” We remember the millions lost and vow: Never Again. #HolocaustRemembranceDay”

Since 2015, Elise Stefanik has been representing New York’s 21st district in the U.S. Congress after succeeding Bill Owens. Born in Albany, New York, in 1984, she resides in Schuylerville and brings her Harvard educational background into her congressional service.
