Rep. Elise Stefanik, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing New York’s 21st district, shared her views on various pressing issues through a series of tweets.

On May 21, 2025, Rep. Stefanik commented on recent events at Ivy League schools, stating that “Graduates burning their diplomas at Ivy League schools is a powerful symbol of how far our education system has fallen.” She expressed concern that these institutions are now producing students who are “consumed by DEI indoctrination.”

Later the same day, she addressed revelations concerning former Governor Andrew Cuomo’s administration. She described these as “a betrayal of public trust at the highest levels.” Rep. Stefanik criticized Cuomo for attempting to “stonewall Congress and peddle lies,” emphasizing the need for transparency and justice for New Yorkers.

On May 22, 2025, Rep. Stefanik reacted to a violent incident outside the Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C., calling it “a heinous act of antisemitic murder and terrorism.” She urged U.S. law enforcement to fully investigate and prosecute those responsible and reaffirmed support for standing with affected communities.

Elise Stefanik has been a member of Congress since replacing Bill Owens in 2015. Born in Albany in 1984 and currently residing in Schuylerville, she graduated from Harvard University with an AB degree.
