Elise Stefanik, a U.S. Congress member representing New York’s 21st district since 2015, has been active on social media addressing various issues. Her recent posts touch upon topics ranging from immigration concerns to local events in her district.
On June 3, 2025, Stefanik requested the Department of Homeland Security to investigate Dr. Mkhaimar Abusada and consider revoking his visa due to “concerning reports” regarding his employment as a visiting professor at Northwestern University. She identified Dr. Abusada as a U.S. green card holder with certain affiliations.
Later that day, she discussed several pressing issues during an interview with Sid Rosenberg on WABC Radio. The conversation covered Governor Kathy Hochul’s performance, a terror attack in Boulder, and her efforts to combat antisemitism in higher education.
On June 4, 2025, Stefanik celebrated the hosting of the Belmont Stakes at Saratoga Race Course. She highlighted the influx of visitors from across the nation and encouraged them to support local businesses during their stay.
Elise Stefanik was born in Albany, New York in 1984 and currently resides in Schuylerville. A Harvard University graduate with an AB degree, she succeeded Bill Owens in Congress and has served her district for over a decade.
