Elise Stefanik, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing New York’s 21st district, has recently shared several statements via social media addressing diverse topics from agriculture to international security concerns. Born in Albany, New York, and a Harvard graduate, Stefanik has been an active political figure since she replaced Bill Owens in 2015.

On March 18, 2025, Rep. Elise Stefanik celebrated National Agriculture Day by acknowledging the contributions of farmers and producers in her district and nationwide. She expressed gratitude for their hard work providing nutritious food globally: “Happy National Agriculture Day to the incredible farmers, growers, and producers across #NY21 and our nation who work so hard to provide families across America and the world with nutritious food and produce.”

Two days later, on March 20, 2025, Stefanik commended former President Donald Trump for his efforts since his election victory the previous November. She praised his commitment to bringing Americans home through a policy of “peace through strength”: “Another historic result from President @realdonaldtrump – this is America First peace through strength! Since winning the election last November, President Trump has worked tirelessly to bring Americans home and he will continue to deliver for the American people.”

Later that day, Stefanik highlighted an event at the United Nations Security Council where hostage survivor Eli Sharabi shared his experiences under Hamas captivity. This testimony served as a poignant reminder of ongoing humanitarian atrocities: “WATCH: Today @USUN invited hostage survivor Eli Sharabi to the Security Council to share his heartbreaking story exposing the true depravity and barbarity of Hamas terrorists.”
