On Thursday, May 15, former Shenendehowa High School standout Ava Barnhart’s current collegiate team the Western New England Golden Bears lost 1-11 against the Virginia Wesleyan Marlins in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.
The game took place at Tom and Betty Broyles Field at TowneBank Park at 11 a.m. and was the first matchup against the Virginia Wesleyan Marlins in the tournament.
The Western New England Golden Bears’ next game will take place on Friday, May 16 at 1:30 p.m. at Tom and Betty Broyles Field at TowneBank Park.
